It is known as a minimal fines product as the screening process separates most of the fine residue from the aggregate. 10mm recycled aggregate is known to be versatile and easy to shovel, therefore it is a popular size of aggregate for backfilling trenches, around PVC and Ag-Pipe, for drainage behind retaining walls and even as a base for pouring concrete.
